Executive Homecare Services Ltd is committed to a high level of staff training in order to develop professionally. We will have bi-monthly ' in-house ' training programme. All staff are expected to undertake an N.V.Q 2 training programme which all staff are required to attend. NVQ level 3 is also available.
Executive Homecare Services has in house training facilities. When we take on a new member of staff they undergo an Induction Process in line with Skills for Care which complies with the Domiciliary Care Standard Act 2000.
We train all our carers with core courses:
All carers are supervised every three months and have annual appraisals together with ongoing training to include specialist needs.
We will also provide external training days or courses which are relevant to the professional task at Executive Homecare Services Ltd.
Executive Homecare Services Ltd will ensure staff will receive their induction and foundation training together with development opportunities that will equip them with skills required to meet the needs of the service user. All staff will receive a workbook based Training and Induction Programme.
Executive Homecare Services Ltd recognises the importance of regular supervision for both carer and also to evaluate the performance and achievement of Executive Homecare Services Ltd goals. A comprehensive staff supervision system has been developed which includes the eight major functions: which include managing, quality assurance, medication, welfare, safeguarding risk, assessment, records and complaints with a view to maintaining and raising standards of domiciliary care.
Executive Homecare Services Ltd system of supervision integrates formal and informal with planned and live supervision. This together with the staff group and individual sessions provides an opportunity for communication and reflection of practices and techniques or working Staff members will receive supervision from senior staff members each month, new staff members will receive one to one supervision at least fortnightly for the first six months of employment, to ensure best practice, identify training needs and discuss any problems or stress they are encountering in the workplace or at home. Staff will also attend an annual appraisal and will attend monthly staff meetings and receive any identified training. All relevant information will be recorded accordingly and kept on file.
